Please put "Sponsoring" & the animal's name on the memo line of the check. Josie was part of a cruelty case seizure. This little girl spent at least 10 years on a chain in one spot. She had a shoddy wooden dog house and little else. Her health deteriorated on that chain.  We took her on and it's been tough. She had a pendulous tumor on her chest, a mammary tumor on her belly and a bleeding rectal tumor. Her mouth was rotting out and an untreated dry eye condition left her blind on one eye. She was covered in a very itchy rash and was beyond miserable. You don't have to beat a dog to abuse them. Chaining them and ignoring them has the same outcome.  Josie has now been spayed and had all the tumors removed. Her healthy teeth have been taken care of and she lost 14 bad ones.
